I've had this part of this one song stuck in my head since I heard it this morning, and I can't even remember how the words are said/sung for the rest of the song anymore. xD

I saw a flipnote with just the 'all my life I've been searching for something, something never comes, never leads to nothing!' part in it back in 2012 or early 2013 and I remembered it. Mum had the CD playing in the car this morning and as soon and the beginning came on I literally froze and didn't move until they finished the intro, then I sort of went 'I KNOW THIS SONG' just as my mum started saying 'If you don't like it I can-' and then I cut in and she just sort of went '-turn it offfff..' xDD
I was so proud of myself for recognizing the song right away, even before they started singing. xD

CANADA WON THE GOLD MEDAL IN HOCKEY FOR THE OLYMPICS. /says the girl who wasn't all that interested in them but still
BOTH MEN AND WOMEN'S TEAMS WON THE GOLD.
THE MEN'S TEAM BEAT SWEDEN THREE NOTHING THIS MORNING.

When they had the Winter Olympics back in 2010, when they were carrying the torch, they came right through my hometown, and the school choir, which I was a part of, had to sing at it. uvu And there was this one guy who did this painting while the canvas was sPINNING AND IT WAS LIKE OF AN OLYMPIC COMPETITOR I THINK AND IT WAS AWESOME.
IT'S STILL UP NEAR WHERE THEY HELD THE CEREMONY TOO.
