Yeaaaaah. ;o;
I looked out my window around 11:45 and there was smoke coming up from somewhere behind the campus building directly across from residence, it turns out one of the houses on the street behind that building burnt last night.
They had three fire departments fighting it, my friends and I saw which house it was today and there wasn’t anything left inside but the walls, everything was pretty black inside. The outside seeeeemed mostly intact, though.
Aaaand our fire alarm went off at 2am because the water pressure to our sprinkler system dropped too low since the firefighters were taking water from a nearby fire hydrant. ;v;
So I went from being dead asleep to having to be awake and functioning in half a second. It turns out that me who’s been awake for half a second still has enough responsibility to grab my phone, keys, and wallet before I leave, so that’s something? xD And I locked my door completely on autopilot too, I don’t have any memory of locking it but it was locked when they let us back inside residence.
I had enough time to put pants on over my pyjamas, pull a sweater on and get my sandals on. They let us into the building across campus to sit, and we were there for probably 15-20 minutes, but it felt like longer. :o
I didn’t get back to sleep until probably around 2:40 in the end. quq
On a better note, Allie, Olivia, Ceilidh, Gabrielle and I went to the city today! :D We went to Build-A-Bear, which was really fun. ^.^
We went around to a bunch of other stores too, but Build-A-Bear was definitely the highlight for everyone I think. ^^
Aaaand now I’m reeeally tired, and I really just kinda want to go to bed, so I think I’m gonna do that. xD
I’ll definitely be back on again tomorrow, though! :o
