I’ve known that today was the anniversary and I’ve been thinking about that for a bit now, but I think it just hit me just now that it’s been eight years. That’s such a long time?? ;o;
I know I say this every year but it really does boggle my mind year after year that I’ve managed to keep this up for so long. ;v; I know I’ve said this before too, but it boggles my mind even more that this was something I started doing completely on a whim when I was 13 years old. I had no idea I’d be doing it so long, aha.
This year had some weirdness for sure, with losing access twice, but I’m really glad I was able to get everything back and continue writing here where I have literally every single day since I was 13. quq
I know that barely anyone ever reads this and maybe nobody reads it regularly at all, but at this point I’m writing mostly for me than for anyone else.
It’s really neat to be able to search something up like an event or a name or anything really, and see what days come up and what I thought about it or what I felt was worth mentioning. Writing here makes me think about what’s different about that particular day every day, and I think that’s really cool too.
I get sappy here every year on the anniversary but it really does always make me think about things and when I started. ;v; I feel like a whole different person than I was when I started writing here, and I think that’s true in a couple ways (definitely for the better!).
I started writing here when I was 13 in 8th grade and drawing flipnotes on a broken DSi, and now I’m 21, I’ve graduated college and I’m working in animation professionally. I’ve literally grown up writing here and that’s never going to stop being so wild to me. ;v;
Anyway, thank you to whoever does read these, whether it’s been just one entry or a few or a lot or any, whether it’s now or years ago. It’s been a pretty wild ride to say the least! :o
I think I’m gonna wrap this up for tonight now, so I can settle down for the night and get ready for bed. The 8 year anniversary was today’s “something different” to think about, nothing else really happened besides work, honestly! ;v;
I’ll be back on again tomorrow for sure though, as always. <3
